Video review – Lamborghini Huracan LP610-4

The 2016 Huracan – an impressive machine

Not every day the opportunity comes along to review a Lamborghini, so naturally I jumped at the chance.  A big thank you to Joe who owns this magnificent machine and to Karl Goodwin motors for facilitating the review.

To date, the only Ferrari I had driven was a Ferrari Mondial.  The most powerful car I’d driven to date was a Bentley saloon, and the only Lamborghini I’d ever sat in was a Diablo.  As I encountered the 2016 Huracan LP610-4 in Karl’s showroom, it was surrounded by each of these.  That made this review all the more special for me.

I used to tell everyone when I was growing up that I wanted to be a Lamborghini test driver.  Fulfilling this dream was really enjoyable and something I won’t forget in a hurry.

Note though that as this is Joe’s car, we filmed him driving it on the test drive video as he is used to the car and can do stuff with it that is normal for him.  I wouldn’t have had enough time to get used to the car to perform to the same level on the review, so thanks Joe for stepping in there.

Overall I enjoyed my day as a Lamborghini test driver – we didn’t score using our usual approach as this is a hypercar and the usual rules just don’t apply.  Have a look at the videos below to see what I thought of it.  Below the videos you’ll find the specs table too.
